Approval modes

Approvals control what Heyno can do on its own and what it checks with you first, like sending an email, making a call, texting a client, or booking a meeting. The mode you choose sets the boundary.

For most work, start with Ask before sending. Heyno drafts and previews freely, then pauses before anything leaves your account.

Ask before sending

Heyno reads your files and drafts freely, but pauses for your approval before it sends an email, makes a call, texts a client, or books a meeting.

Turn on a mode

Ask before sending is always on. To make another mode the default, or to set rules for specific actions, open Settings › Approvals.

The modes available to you can depend on your plan and your organization’s requirements. A mode that isn’t allowed appears disabled.

How approvals work

Two things work together:

Changing the mode doesn’t change the guard. Switching to Auto-approve routine keeps the same actions gated; it just changes who signs off on the routine ones. When Heyno pauses, you approve or reject from an approval card in the chat or a notification on your phone.
